1 day left of Burning Man : "Burning Man, a nine-day arts and music festival held in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert, attracts tens of thousands of people annually, according to its website.
The location where Burning Man is held in is managed by the federal Bureau of Land Management. The festival began on Aug. 27 and continues until Sept. 4.

"The first annual Tejano Music Fest, presented by Volkswagen of Palm Springs, showcases the music, food, art, and culture of Mexican-Americans whose families originate from south, central, and west Texas. The festival takes place on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Civic Center Plaza in Downtown Cathedral City, located at 68-700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero...he Tejano Music Fest will raise funds from festival goers and donate it to the American Red Cross. In addition, Volkswagen of Palm Springs is also offering residents an opportunity to drop-off any donations prior to the festival at their dealership located at 67909 E. Palm Canyon Drive in Cathedral City. During the festival, the bartenders from the Cathedral City Evening Rotary Club have also announced that they will donate their tips to the American Red Cross.

This is me Gloria Poole, Registered Nurse, artist, photographer at times, author, illustrator, cartoonist at times, as I looked in year 2002. This photo was photographed by my oldest daughter Jennifer who gave it to me and I have it framed. So I rephotographed it as a digital because I had done that before on one of my cell phones which unfortunately had a Microsoft file on it as an app, that has been nothing but aggravation forever! . The reason I am adding it here today, is because I have to identify to Microsoft that this is ME, so they stop trying to lock me out of my own cell phone and or little computer. I also have a big desktop computer that is not Microsoft, and tables that are also not Microsoft. I have posted different photos of me at different times and they are scattered throughout my blogs and sites. My most recent selfie is the one with my hair in lop-sided pony tail that is on most of my blogs.

*Footnote: I had concussions secondary to trauma and when I am very tired, I seem to see lop-sided! I usually only notice that when I photograph and it appears to be straight across the bottom of the view-finder, but then when I see the photos, they are lop-sided. It is not intentional. I thought of just quitting trying to improve my brain from the damage done to it, but decided that was not in my best interest. Maybe that will improve over time? I cannot say and neither can anyone else.
