Summer #entertainment is everywhere #festivals #music #museums #food

Hello y'all! I am trying to catch up some and will of necessity add more to this as I read my emails today. So read this info then reread in a few minutes/

The Chautauqua Institution for Music has many offers and I am including snippets of info and photo sent to me. These items are from info sent to me to help publicize and it is intended to be helpful to those events but also to families with children who are selective about what their children participate in. I read what I post but I do not personally attend these --my info is based upon info sent to me generally speaking. Please attend all of these if possible.

Chautauqua's Atheneum Hotel offers packages of events:

What will your Chautauqua experience look like? Come for a week and dive into the lectures and programs or come for a weekend and enjoy golfing, boating, fishing, biking and all the other recreational activities Chautauqua offers. Stay in our historic Athenaeum Hotel and be a part of the Chautauqua cutlure. We thank you in advance for your partnership in safety and we can't wait to welcome you.

Celebrate Saturday night at Chautauqua wit this all-inclusive package for two  which offers relaxation, entertainment and recreation highlighted by a Saturday evening classical performance. Discuss the performance with new friends on our lakeside porch while indulging in an elegant culinary experience. Or vacation a true CHQ experience. Be inspired by Chautauqua Institution’s programming, discuss the day’s lecture with new friends on the 200-foot lakeside porch and dine at Heirloom Restaurant. From February to August, 2025 Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Exhibit will give kids an interactive adventure of learning and fun with Mickey and his pals while enhancing physical, cognitive and social-emotional skills through immersive hands-on and digital interactives.

The exhibit focuses on Mickey and his friends throwing a surprise birthday party for Pluto, but they need some help from kids along the way.

In July 2025, the museum will unveil a new Take Me There exhibit that will transport families to a new part of the world to experience a foreign culture right here in Indianapolis.

#CapeCod #Music #Festival :

Our region offers ample opportunity to take in live music. On The Point, we discuss two music festivals with a loyal and enthusiastic following- first, the Meeting House Chamber Music Festival celebrating their 50th anniversary season. Joining us is cellist, chamber music artist and educator Amit Peled, and violinist Joyce Hammann.

The Cape Cod Women’s music Festival is now in its 10th year. This festival brings local and national female musicians from various genres to showcase their music and share their stories. All proceeds benefit the non profit Cape Wellness Collaborative, which supports people in our community living with cancer. Joining us is Sarah Swain, the founder of both Cape Wellness Collaborative and the Cape Cod Women’s Music Festival, Courtney Wittenstein from the Festival, and Provincetown musician and singer songwriter Zoe Lewis
