Youtube is one of life's entertainments for certain

I love youtube! I reason that most of the world does also. Today I made an effort to create a youtube channel and though it is not complete, I want to share it with you.  You can see the videos, listen to music, watch ballets that I selected and also learn about science, study language, and listen to inspirational words by following the link. That SuperLifeTV is a composite of youtube and vevo videos and so far, does not include videos I made, but those I like on youtube and vevo. In 2005, I began to realize I could use the art to illustrate my talking points in some cases, and to build a secondary "career' for me as artist.  In the year 2006 when I had endured and lived to tell about it a violent crash down a flight of stairs and had trauma, fractures, concussion, because my then-husband DBP tried to kill me to 'make it look like an accident" and he tried to twist off my broken leg, I had immobility for months except on crutches and walking boot after surgery to repair fractures and implant metal. As I sat with leg propped up I began to draw daily and paint to occupy the time and my mind. I also began to post art to the web on my blogs and websites, and also photographs I had photographed. I began a series of art then that is named "ethnic series by Gloria" [me] to attempt to draw and paint an art work of every ethnic group tribe, language, culture in the world and I created eight initial oil paintings in the first batch and posted them to the web on domains of mine.  I moved from Aurora to zip code 80203 for 2 and 1/2 years and then moved to Missouri on Oct 31, 2009 with the art I had in my possession at that time. I paint some of the sketches I created  in do-overs into oils on canvas and those are very visible on the web. Turkish Festival in Belgium is one of life's entertainments

I had planned one theme for this blog today but when I read my news in inbox I changed my mind. These sketches of Turk men in costume are ones I drew and painted years ago, but this is a good time to show them since this post is about a Turkish Festival being held in Belgium and it begins this coming weekend. Football games are one of life's entertainments

Today is the #UGAvsMIZZ game in Missouri and it is half-time. University of Georgia is ahead 20-0 .  I, Gloria Poole,  am a University of Georgia alumna and I was remembering how much fun it is to be at a game. There is the University Redcoat band, and the songs, "glory, glory to ole Georgia" and "hunker down hairy dawgs" and the University of Georgia alma mater. 

And of course, the wild fan revelry. That is always a riot of activity with tailgate parties, singing, doing the wave, and celebrating. I tweeted some of the photos and videos from today's game on these blogs of mine and you can see the photos of today's game  and  some of the videos  of it here:

Here are some of the photos I photographed at a University of Georgia reception I attended that preceded the University of Georgia _Missouri game once before.  The first photo is the UGA mascot fill-in and 2nd one is  the UGA Seal; and the 3rd one is the  arches of the University on the Alumni Association banner.

I drew this sketch of the real bulldog UGA IV in year 2013. That is liquid acrylics to the right of it. I drew this and photographed it on my work table [which is not a paid job for me but I use that term to mean my drawing table that is mine personally in my own apt in Missouri. And yes, it does look like I produce art on it because I do.

Watching fish swim is one of life's entertainments; Update festival news

I, Gloria Poole, put a video I videographed yesterday of goldfish and other fish swimming, gulping and appearing to kiss. It includes a waterfall. It uploaded in wrong position but bear with it because seeing the fish swim in the larger view is ok and you can still hear the waterfall if you turn up the audio to high and watch the fish. It is a 16 minute video and If there was a way to turn it upright I would. The political censors tried to stop me from uploading this video today  but they failed. But they did manage to get it turned wrong . However, since watching goldfish is one of my favorite things to do, I thought others might also like to see it.  When/ if I find solution to malware used to tamper with my video as it uploaded, I will correct this. Until then, it appears to play ok but waterfall is to left. If you can make it upright on your system, then fine. Otherwise just watch the fishes swim. Oh, people walked by me as I was videotaping this yesterday so you will hear voices of a few seconds duration and some of them were in foreign language [that I did not recognize]. I was videotaping at a public park.

For the record and to establish provenance of art I have already created also: the art I have created and signed and posted to this blog of mine is part of an on-going series of art I created since year 1991 beginning in Atlanta, GA that "blossomed"  in year 2005 in  Aurora, Colorado when I lived there for one year [May 2006-May 2007], and art began to really become an integral part of my efforts to save the baby humans from premeditated destruction. In 2005, I began to realize I could use the art to illustrate my talking points in some cases, and to build a secondary "career' for me as artist.  In the year 2006 when I had endured and lived to tell about it a violent crash down a flight of stairs and had trauma, fractures, concussion, because my then-husband DBP tried to kill me to 'make it look like an accident" and he tried to twist off my broken leg, I had immobility for months except on crutches and walking boot after surgery to repair fractures and implant metal. As I sat with leg propped up I began to draw daily and paint to occupy the time and my mind. I also began to post art to the web on my blogs and websites, and also photographs I had photographed. I began a series of art then that is named "ethnic series by Gloria" [me] to attempt to draw and paint an art work of every ethnic group tribe, language, culture in the world and I created eight initial oil paintings in the first batch and posted them to the web on domains of mine.  I moved from Aurora to zip code 80203 for 2 and 1/2 years and then moved to Missouri on Oct 31, 2009 with the art I had in my possession at that time. I paint some of the sketches I created  in do-overs into oils on canvas and those are very visible on the web. I put many of them on my mini exhibit of art at https://mini-exhibition.blogspot.com, and also on my Picasa albums at https://picasaweb.google.com/gloriapoole.

 I, Gloria Poole, am a white, Southern Baptist Christian, woman, single-again, twice-divorced,natural mother of only two children who are grown daughters named Jennifer and Leigh, and also a republican, personhood promoter, prolife activist-blogger, photographer, artist in all mediums, poet, author, illustrator, cartoonist, writer, University of Georgia alumna, U S citizen born in the state of Georgia [but I lived in several places including New York, UK briefly, Nebraska, South Carolina, Colorado, Virginia, North Carolina], former TV producer,tweeter, Registered Nurse licensed in Missouri [but before that in Georgia, UK, other states], owner/writer for words that WORK, and Tapestry of LIFE, photographer, and citizen journo . Gloria Poole is my real, born with legal name and I resumed my full maiden name including my surname of Poole legally by Court order at the time of divorce from male DBP in Colorado in Oct, 2007 at Centennial, Colorado; and I also removed the Pappas name from my name forevermore at the time of final decree in Oct 2007 . I was glad to end that four year horrible marriage of multiple trauma and injuries to me caused by male DBP, [which I testified about in Court on several occasions ].  That second divorce is public record in the state of Colorado, and my first divorce is public record in the state of Georgia. I have created art regularly since 1991, and I had formal training in drawing and in mixing colors /paint and painting in oils and I post much of the art I create on blogs of mine. Street partying is one of life's entertainments, sketch by Gloria Poole of Missouri

"Street partying" sketch abstract by Gloria Poole of Missouri and Georgia; 14 Sept-2014; acrylic 9 x12. This sketch was inspired by the news on TV a few nights ago, when for very brief report it showed a group of people from India parading in street party covered with a dragon-like "float" and wearing masks and some walking on stilts. I don't do dragons, because in my mind they represent evil [since the book of Revelations depicts the great dragon as evil]. So, I modified it to something less fierce   and drew and painted it as an abstract scene instead of a realistic one.  Also, I threw in the beanstalk from Jack and beanstalk just for fun! The yellow stars and odd-shaped forms represent fireworks. { I admit I am not good at drawing fireworks or anything that resembles explosions. This is my first effort to draw/paint  fireworks.] Many places call this sort of a party a "block party" inviting all who live on their block to participate.  Also, when I was student at University of Georgia, I learned of the annual bed race that the University sponsors which is a huge, gigantic street party of students pushing beds down the street in a a race; and it usually makes the news also in the local Athens [GA] area. And yes, I did graduate from there with a second degree [because I was already a Registered Nurse when I went back to GA to get a business degree ]

I am a University of Georgia alumna and it was one of the best experiences of my life to get that second "career" education at UGA; and to attend some of the home games. I worked as R.N.  at the UGA Student Health Center while I was a full time student there. I did graduate with a degree in business and it has served the goals of my life very well.
