I, Gloria Poole, [Reg Nurse and artist, etc] drew this yesterday with archival ink onto a 9 x 12 inch sketchpad of mine. I signed it, photographed it, uploaded it, and posted it to this blog of mine which is an PUBLIC SERVICE blog of mine to help people find day trip sort of entertainments, music and festivals. It is the time of year when squirrels are foraging for food, and I like to watch them. I drew this using the Missouri Conservation magazine as a reference photo since my own photos of squirrels were not close up enough to draw from. I was afraid of scaring them with camera. I add art I create to this blog on occasion and or photos I photograph, but always words I write. Those are my fingers on the lower left edge of paper. Music, festivals and fun times for families coming up

"Eleven Bettendorf High School students were recently accepted to the Iowa All-State Ensembles. This is the 69th anniversary of the Iowa All-State Music Festival sponsored by the Iowa High School Music Association and the Iowa Music Educators Association. District auditions for the 279-piece All-State Band, 198-piece All-State Orchestra and 601-member All-State Chorus were held in October. Approximately 17 percent of the students who audition are selected for membership through a rigorous audition process.

Music & concerts for Christmas season:
In Virginia : "A holiday tradition in Onancock, Virginia continues this year with the Cokesbury Christmas Music Festival on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 2 to 6 p.m.

Festivals & Music coming up in New Year: Lismore/Northern rivers, australia : new festival in March 2017 : "MARK March 10 and 11, 2017, in your calendar as a weekend of music and fun at the inaugural Lismore Music Festival.

The reason I am adding it here today, is because I have to identify to Microsoft that this is ME, so they stop trying to lock me out of my own cell phone and or little computer. I also have a big desktop computer that is not Microsoft, and tables that are also not Microsoft. This is the display I made of the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business where I got a second education and graduated with a business degree.
This is my selfie [Gloria Poole,RN, artist] in spring 2014 but I look the same except that I am thinner and my hair is longer but I still put it in lop-sided pony tail when I walk about or create art to prevent hair from blowing into my eyes or into paint.That is also me that you see in the "about me" box on right side of this blog and I am wearing a dark grey winter wool hat because that photo was taken of me in state of Georgia in Jan 2010 and my family in Georgia saw me wearing that hat and so did other people. So I am leaving that photo also on this blog for that reason.
