This is a simple cartoon I painted with watercolors and tempra in cake form yesterday. I love oceans, sailboats, yachts, canoes, rafts, paddle boats, pontoon boats, motor boats--every known boat to mankind! So, I am reminding world that winter is almost over, spring is around the corner and people will be taking their boats to lakes, rivers, and oceans. And some people will be going to festivals. I intended this sketch to be cartoon-like since I cartoon intermittently to make people smile. Squirrel watching sketch painted today and festivals posted by me Gloria Poole,RN, artist of /in Missouri

This is a sketch of a squirrel that I painted today. I like to watch squirrels and they are abundant in Missouri. That is one thing I do for entertainment and the other things are painting/ drawing and sketching AND making websites to help people learn something. Country drives to see leaves changing is one of life's entertainments sketch by me Gloria Poole of Missouri

This is a sketch i made to show what millions of people do annually: go on drives into the country to see the spectacular changing of the leaves from green to motley reds, oranges, yellow before the leaves all fall off for the winter. Of course, evergreens are ever green--they do not shed their leaves. It's a fun relaxing day's drive for most people, and something people around the world do this time of year. Also, people often drive into the country or to other places to attend music festivals and helping make public aware of some of those is the purpose of this blog. It is merely a public service. This sketch is on 9 x 12 inch paper and I drew it with oil pastels. I was almost out of turpentine so I did not wash over it with turpentine, just let it with the strokes visible. Castle exploring is one of life's entertainments and so are Music festivals

This is a sketch of an idea I would like to see more of: exploring castles as an entertainment. I know Queen Elizabeth II allows vistors to tour Buckingham Palace while she and her husband move temporarily to the Holyrood House castle in Scotland. I also think Vanderbilt castle in Tennessee is open to the public. This sketch is my rendition of an actual castle in Normandy, France. I drew this in ink and then painted it with watercolor, and signed it, photographed it, uploaded it, and posted it to this blog of mine which is intended to be a public service site for information on music, film, live, entertainment that appears to be family friendly and fun.Copyrighted art and photos and my words. This is a personal logo for me that I made using a computer graphics program on one of my computers.

This is one of my photos of the U S flag I photographed on walkabout to remind all I am a U S citizen with all civil liberties including freedom of Press, freedom to worship THE LORD GOD, and freedom to associate with whomever I want or not to associate with those GOD labels "abomination" and freedom to protest governments.

 This is my hand on one of my christian cross necklaces in selfie from 2014 to remind all that I am Southern Baptist Christian and do not make nor worship images of GOD, and do not bow down to any idol or man-made thing in keeping with GOD's commandment in Exodus chapter 20. Also, my hand looks red because I was in strain trying to photograph my hand outstretched and keep camera still. I am a white woman, see selfies of me on other blogs of mine.  20:13, KJV.
